The Story behind BothDol

To talk a little bit about where the name BothDol came from,

I realize some people still recognizes the fames name that existed before I existed. If you don't understand why the name exist right now!!!! BothDol is recognizing for what he did for his border people, EDUCATING THEM, SUPPORTING THE NEEDS, AND MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR THE COUNTRY DURING THE CIVIL WAR OF BOTH COUNTRIES.
Many border people did not want to keep fighting the two wars. One of the wars was “The Religious War” between the North and South Sudan. The other war was “The Ethiopian and Eritrean Civil War.” Each one of the war would be fought by whichever side border line you’re on. It became more difficult for the border people to bear suck conflicts because they had to apart themselves with the other half of their own tribes by choosing which country to belong based on Education and Military. If you border Ethiopia, you're requiring going to Amharic School. If you Border Sudan, you're requiring going to Arabic School!
Sometimes it’s why you hear Nuer Ethiopian and Nuer Sudanese, but really Nuer is a one huge tribe of Sudanese that somewhat divided to Ethiopia, which are also known as Gembelian. Other familiar tribes that are also divided are Surma which are related to Nubians and Massai from Kenya and Tanzania.

Nuer Tribe

Surma Tribe

Massai Tribe

Due to the memory of what BothDol has accomplish the most was education and knowledge about who you are and learning the world around you.

In my own words, "My heart is just like my father and strong as his as well; I'm here to make a difference."

Northern VA FW Blog

February 5th, 2009 by NOVA Fashion Blogger

If you want to meet a truly unique designer, Nyamal Both fits the bill. Mixing the essence of African design with American clothing, Nyamal is a designer to keep your eye on in the coming years. She was nice enough to give me an interview between her busy schedule of designing, modeling, and raising her two young children.
